Résumé Help: Formatting the Education & Professional Credentials Section

This highly-qualified finance professional has listed her education and professional designations together in one category.  It’s presented in a very dense manner, which means it will take the reader longer to sort through the information.  Some readers may be frustrated and stop reading or miss an important qualification. In the worst scenario, this candidate could be eliminated for a poor presentation. We did a makeover on this portion of her résumé.  You can see the “before” and “after” below.

First we separated her education and professional credentials into two distinct categories.  Within the education, we formatted it so it is clear.  We placed the degree in bold so at a glance the reader will see the degree.  We also omitted the education that did not culminate in a degree.   In the credentials category, we simply cleaned up the formatting to incorporate more white space and updated the punctuation.
