With my busy days, I rarely have time for afternoon television.  However, I have really enjoyed a show that airs from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Eastern on HLN, “Making It in America.”  It’s hosted by Vinnie Politan, who hails from my home state of New Jersey.  The show is a very upbeat and motivating hour.  Each day experts provide practical advice on making it in areas of career, health, finance, and more.  Vinnie features a “Small Business Shoutout” and a “Mompreneurs.”  These gutsy, savvy business owners give the inside story on how they built their business.

My hope is that the Careers Done Write blog has that same energy and that through the blog we can inspire each other to make it!   So, I am asking you this question, are you making it in America?  If so, what is your formula to make it in America?  What was that critical decision or action that you took that has helped you succeed?   On the flipside, if you are struggling and not quite making it in America, I want to hear from you too!  Write me with your career question or challenge.  I want to help you make it!
