Résumé Help – Senior Oracle Consultant

The résumé we are reviewing today is that of a technical consultant rather than a full time employee.  Contractors can often have a difficult time putting together a meaningful résumé because of the many jobs they have held. 

The use of a career highlights section, which can be modified depending upon the role the candidate seeks, will improve the effectiveness of the résumé.  Elisa can use this section to bullet specific accomplishments she had at several contract engagements that would be relevant to the position at hand.

Her résumé, as it stands now, is extremely difficult to read.  By modifying the layout, she will be able to make it shorter (it was 4 pages long), and at the same time improve the visual appeal and readability.  Elisa has a lot to offer a potential employer and should have a résumé that reflects this.
