Résumé Help - Inside Sales Market Research Professional

The Résumé Help blog today focuses on a lead generation and market research candidate who does a great deal of cold calling - and may or may not - have a history of success as an employee. The reason I say may or may not is that it is impossible to tell if this particular candidate, Wendy, has achieved her targets, quotas, or company objectives because she neglects to mention any specifics.

I cannot stress enough how important it is that you reference the results. Candidates MUST include as many quantifiable achievements as possible in order to stand out from others.  Hiring managers and recruiters don’t only want to see what a candidate did in terms of daily duties and responsibilities, they also want to find out how contributions to the corporation impacted the bottom line.  If you were a producer at your last firm, you will be likely to produce for them.  Make sense?

A strong headline, summary statement, and specific details of accomplishments are missing from this résumé. To take a closer look at Wendy’s résumé and get tips on how to improve your own résumé, click on the image below.
