Résumé Help - Information Technology Manager

Today our Résumé Help reviews the résumé of a candidate in the Information Technology space.  George is a strong candidate; and some of the information on his résumé is quite compelling. George has overused bullets throughout the document. This detracts from the readability.  Most hiring managers and recruiters will skip bullets beyond a certain point.

George also uses the first person, which is not appropriate for a résumé. He includes an objective, which should be replaced with a summary focused on how he can be of value to the company.  His current objective makes him appear more junior than he actually is.

George should position his résumé for growth and advancement, including adding a headline and branding statement.George also has some outstanding accomplishments. He should separate his responsibilities and accomplishments via a more compelling format to help him stand out.
