No One is Looking at My LinkedIN Profile

Dear Deb: 

I updated my LinkedIn profile three weeks ago and I have not had a single hit!  Zero! Nada! My profile is fully optimized based on the latest expert advice.  What should I do?

Dear Robbie:

Have you joined groups on LinkedIn and participated in discussions?   I would recommend increasing your activity. Select vital groups that are related to your occupation, geographic location, and industry. Check in to LinkedIn daily and "like" things, post interesting articles, ask questions, and answer questions.  It's like real life networking, you really have to work it.  Make a goal to share one interesting link with your followers and groups each week.  Each day, read the discussion feeds and “like” at least two items. 

Have you invited colleagues to connect with you?  Have you endorsed your peers?  Start to build your network through invitations and endorsements.

Increase your activity, stay active, and you should have more interest in your profile within the next four to six weeks.  Keep at it. It takes effort.
