Résumé Help – Treasury Banking Sales Manager
Today on our Résumé Help blog we are going to illustrate how we helped a senior level sales professional in the financial services industry.
If you look below, you will see not one image, but two. The first image has the usual comments critiquing the résumé. The second image shows the revised document of the same sample. All personal information has been redacted to maintain the client’s privacy. Due to space limitations, we depicted a portion of each résumé.
In addition to less than impressive visual appeal, this résumé had some serious issues in terms of content and positioning.
Judy worked with one of our writers who understands what gets the attention of hiring managers; after having her résumé rewritten, she received requests for interviews from five different companies. Previously she was not getting any activity. Within three weeks of Judy’s résumé revision, she accepted a new position.

Aside from the significant, substantive changes, the initial visual impression is so much better and different. You've got to think the aesthetics matter: in lieu of meeting somebody in person, it's a sort of "first impression" and the revision makes the candidate seem more like a premium package.
